    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! I learned so much about the United States and our history as well as about myself and my strengths and weaknesses as a student.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much in this course. I would say one thing that really stuck with me even after AP US History is how religion came to the US in colonial times, and how it spread throughout the country and how you can still somewhat see that today. For me, I feel like while in APUSH and after, I look at the world differently and with more understanding.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering AP US History (which you should be!) always always always do the reading and the notes. There is a lot of reading and note taking, yes but if you take the time and dedication you will get so much out of it, it is the most rewarding class I have taken in high school yet. Another tip that I have is, if you read the textbook to learn vs. just to get it done you will comprehend the concepts so much better. This class requires a lot of time, motivation, dedication, and effort but if you are willing to put it in, you will get it back and then some.

    Course Overview:

The course is not as hard as it seems. And it helps form friendships.

    Course highlights:

I learned to work hard and that determination is key

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

you will have to manage your time wisely

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course challenged me greatly, while still allowing me to enjoy the rich history of the united states. The structure of the course of great in my opinion and I learned a lot.

    Course highlights:

For me, one of the biggest highlights was doing the Decades Project, where groups were assigned different decades and had to the present the history as well as life style during that decade. It was a lot of fun and very interesting too.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although this course is a challenge, it is extremely interesting too. One huge thing is time management, the work load is quite large, but with time I learned to manage my time and it did not seem as bad as it did when I was new to the coarse.
