    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was challenging but definitely a class worth taking! At first the information seems overwhelming but with proper time management and a consistent studying routine it will get better. I learned a lot in this class and would take it again.

    Course highlights:

Upon taking this course I learned how to properly handle lab utensils.(this was my first class with a lab) I also learned how to properly use the microscope which was really cool! Throughout the semester I learned about different cells and bacteria. We also touched on the different environments and their habitants. Lab was always fun because it was applying what we learned in lecture and running actual experiments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be succeful in this course reading the chapters and reviewing PowerPoint slides is a MUST. Don't fall behind because after falling behind it will be hard to catch-up. If there's any extra credit opportunities DO THEM. It could be what saves you from a lower letter grade in the future. If you're struggling in the course try to draw out the diagrams and make labels. Before tests ask yourself if you really know the material. As in, do I know this well enough to teach it to someone? I've always felt learning to teach it is the best way to really absorb the information. Goodluck :)

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was fine, but not always the most fun.

    Course highlights:

My only favorite part about this course was when looking at genetics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take all his practice quizzes and read through all his notes

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great teacher, explains the material very well and makes it easy to understand. A lot of extra credit opportunities.

    Course highlights:

The labs are simple and are actually entertaining; the best part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study very hard and do all of your work. It is a lot of reading but it will make the class work easier.
