    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the benefits heavily outweigh the negatives. For example, if you are dedicated enough, you can possibly get a 4 or a 5 on the AP exam and not have to worry about taking this class in college. However, this is the class that will test to see how determined you are to get your grade. Therefore, if you hardly study and you do not find history interesting, this class is not for you. However, if you enjoy learning about other religions, traditions, and empires of your ancestors, as well as comparing the standard of living from back then to now, this class is essential for you. Regardless, I recommend this class for anyone who in general enjoys learning and strives for excellence!

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I got to learn about topics of which I had no prior knowledge of, such as how unsanitary the ships were on the Middle Passage during the Mid 1600s and especially how the Mongols were able to maintain power during the 1200s to the 1550s. Not only that, but I was able to make friendships with people in my class who are just as interested in History as I am!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Ap World History is a tough course taken by tough students. In order to succeed in this class, you must be able to study consistently to make sure you do not fall behind, and you need to read a little part of your assigned reading each night so you can best comprehend the information in the book. If you are to do these two things, you will most likely succeed in this class!
