This class was tough.
I recommend this course to anyone who is going into a health related career. It has a lot of use and value. Knowing theories and principles of moral thinking and how those connect can help you decide in a difficult situation is very important. I would not take this course in addition to other hard courses, for example I wouldn't advise someone to take this course and a lab course. The time it takes to read all the material and do your assignments for the week takes a lot. Overall this is a great course, but just be sure to fit your schedule around it.
I really liked being able to think critically about moral questions. Their are theories and principles that support certain ways of thinking. Biomedical ethics was very interesting and for someone interested in going into a medical career, should take this course. Not only do you have a better understanding on how to deal with difficult situations you can give support to why you made the decision you did.

Advice for students:
Do take your time reading all the material. Make sure to have time set aside to finish the assignments since some can take a couple to a few hours to complete. If you want an A in this course do not take a lot of other hard courses or you will not be able to commit the time to this class.
