Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Capes is a brilliant man who is more than willing to help out. Although math use is moderate, he makes it work while. This course is focused on both micro and macro economics, and although it is only one semester, it does prepare you for the "real-world."

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be an active member of my economic environment. From calculating interest to predicting stock market figures, Mr. Capes taught us how to properly use money in virtually any situation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a calculator, you will need it. Be ready for moderate levels of sarcasm, as that is Mr. Capes primary teaching tool.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will be the greatest class that you will take throughout all four years of high school. No longer will you be learning about irrelevant stuff for the outside world. You learn material that will actually help you excel in the real world.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the this class were doing activities that helped us learn the materials for the test. Mr. Martin is great at making the class fun and interesting while at the same time, preparing us for the final AP exam at the end of the year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give you if you are going to take this class would be to not be lazy in the beginning of the year. Many people in my class thought the class was super easy just because the first unit was not difficult, but the next will be much harder so stat focused.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Martin is an excellent teacher and will always help you with whatever you need help with. He has a strict policy that he never lets anyone fail in his class. Overall, the class is very interesting and the teacher is highly supportive.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the weekly activities we did in class. Mr. Martin believes in hands-on work to help us learn. Not only were they fun and helpful but they also helped me meet new people in my class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is not too hard but if you want to succeed you need to study your notes daily. Also, he does not give too much homework so when he does, you definitely need to do it. The tests can be hard, but not if you get study groups together with people in your class.
