    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP classes in general are a great way to earn college credit. While they can be notorious for being very difficult classes, Mr. Gordon explains topic carefully and precisely . He is always willing to help and tutor hies students if there's ever a topic they're confused on. Plus, the lessons are engaging and Mr. Gordon manages to make each one interesting.

    Course highlights:

A large highlight of the course was Mr. Gordon himself. He knows his stuff, and more importantly, he knows how to teach it well. He is also funny and animated, and brings enthusiasm and humor to each lesson. Another highlight of the class were the labs, in which we used interesting lab equipment like microscopes. We also formulated many interesting experiments as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work hard. This is an Advanced Placement class, and it will become a real challenge if you as a student are not paying attention to the lessons and asking questions when you don't understand something. Also, take a LOT of practice AP Biology tests to constantly gauge where you are and what you still need to work on.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was an interesting class if you like science. Although it was very difficult at times and requires you to really think about your answers and why that is the answer.

    Course highlights:

Labs were the best part. You really got to go into detail and learn new things.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Really study your notes and review constantly so you're ready for exams. Also if you need help or don't understand anything stay after class to talk about it with the teacher or even ask the question during class. Chances are you aren't the only one who has that question so not only will you be helping yourself but also others.
