Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is quite informative on how the environment around us is constantly changing by anthropogenic and nonanthropogenic means. In other terms this course give a broad and narrow view on how humans affect and change the existing environment around us.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Boyd keeps the class interactive with several group projects, labs, and class work. Being in her class opens your eyes to a whole new world and teaches you that the worst threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

-Take good notes -Pay attention to her class lectures -Turn in homework, labs and class work on time -Keep in mind that tests and labs affect your grade the most

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is hands down the best class I have taken in high school. Mrs. Boyd fills each class with passion and excitement, making everyday a fun learning adventure. Her classes are always packed with important information and the best part is that everything is relevant to real life! You will find yourself thinking about the things you learn and applying them to your everyday lifestyle.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new perspective on the world from taking this class. This class really opened my eyes to the state of our planet and our impact on it. Mrs. Boyd helped me to realize that the environment is my passion and as a result I will be starting college in the fall as an environmental major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in the planet and protecting it for the future. My biggest piece of advice is to get your work done in class and ask Mrs. Boyd if you ever have questions!
