    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Strict but informative, don't cross Ms Espinosa. You will be required to participate in a nuanced discussion of both the good and the bad points of American history, not just "American exceptionalism"

    Course highlights:

I learned both sides of history with this class. Thanks to heavy use of AP materials, it prepares you well for the AP test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't do the assigned reading, you will be completely lost, but overall the class discussions were engaging and informative.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is no walk in the park, that's for sure. However, you will leave this class with a profound knowledge of the history of the United States and an amazement that you were able to learn and retain so much in just one school year.

    Course highlights:

This class would be impossible without Tomkin's amazing and dedicated teaching. You can tell she is passionate about what she is teaching, which is intriguing and helps you better retain the information. You get to go more in depth into the history you have been learning since the third grade.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class seriously, like a college course. Don't let things get away from you like the smaller vocab quizzes; they affect your grade more than you would think. If you put your best effort into this class, you will certainly see a return on the investment into your education.
