    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a lot of fun. The teachers for the final semester of nursing school have so much energy and knowledge to share. Also you get to see how the concepts you have been learning about for the last two semesters come together in a crisis.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the clinical rotation at the hospital and the lab. For once during this program the labs actually felt like time was put into preparing them and something was too be learned. My favorite topics were spinal cord injury and emergency preparedness.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When studying for this class make sure that you understand more than just the disease process. You have to understand how the process affects what you have to do as a nurse. Know what the priority assessments and care are and when to call for additional help.
