Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The course can be really fun as long as you're understanding what the subject is about.
Course highlights:
I'm still enrolled in the course and I have much more to learn.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Pay attention to what is being discussed in the class and do as much home work as you can.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
It's the base of all things mathematics. It's a general course so it's transferable.
Course highlights:
The whole quarter tackles the basics of derivation the application of it in real life. The professor is also one of the best teacher I have ever got. She explains clearly and is open to questions.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Do her homeworks. She doesn't check them, but it really helps as exercise. Her test is not as hard as her homeworks. So if you can do the homeworks, you surely can pass her test and this class. (all her homeworks are from the book)
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Calculus is fun. Sam, the professor, is a real great instructor. He did not care if students were present or absent. The only thing he cared was how well the students understood the course materials. I felt no stress taking this course at all, and I got 4.0.
Course highlights:
Well, I learnt calculus, of course. However, beside that, I learnt how to be a great instructor, thank to Sam Wilson. He only focused on educating, not on grading.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Trying to understand meanings of everything, all formulas, will help students absorb knowledge without efforts to memorize it. And do your homework!
