    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I feel it is taught well and it truly gives you the application skills that you need to take the AP exam in May. Don't be afraid to try!

    Course highlights:

I really loved the labs we did all throughout the class. We definitely learned how to build our own science experiments and make sure we were well prepared for our future as scientist

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really just have to study the material given. I really loved the AP biology Baron's book. To me that was the most helpful thing ever.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows you to learn about the Earth in the past and in the present. It helps you lean the material in a way that you can use it in everyday practical life.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I learned things from topographic maps to geologic times. You also go on a field trip to the Field Museum where you get a further look into the animals and plants in geologic times.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you pay attention to the teacher and take your notes, this course will be a breeze for you. The projects are a fun way to learn the material in a new way so make sure you follow the directions to get the full learning experience.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

A.P. Biology was most likely that hardest class I have ever taken, but I do not regret a second of it. I feel like a truly learned about the science of life, that I learned more than I have in any class I have ever taken, and my teacher was amazing at teaching it. I understood the material and he made it so I enjoyed learning it. Every day had something fun in store that furthered our learning.

    Course highlights:

My favorite units from AP were the units focused on macrorganisms. Learning about plants and animals and how everything perfectly fits together into a functioning biosphere.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study hard for every test and quiz. They will be tough but when you get to the AP exam you will be grateful they prepared you as well as they did. Also, use your online resources! They are your friends through this hard course!
