Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows you to learn about the Earth in the past and in the present. It helps you lean the material in a way that you can use it in everyday practical life.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I learned things from topographic maps to geologic times. You also go on a field trip to the Field Museum where you get a further look into the animals and plants in geologic times.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you pay attention to the teacher and take your notes, this course will be a breeze for you. The projects are a fun way to learn the material in a new way so make sure you follow the directions to get the full learning experience.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

A.P. Biology was most likely that hardest class I have ever taken, but I do not regret a second of it. I feel like a truly learned about the science of life, that I learned more than I have in any class I have ever taken, and my teacher was amazing at teaching it. I understood the material and he made it so I enjoyed learning it. Every day had something fun in store that furthered our learning.

    Course highlights:

My favorite units from AP were the units focused on macrorganisms. Learning about plants and animals and how everything perfectly fits together into a functioning biosphere.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study hard for every test and quiz. They will be tough but when you get to the AP exam you will be grateful they prepared you as well as they did. Also, use your online resources! They are your friends through this hard course!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it shows reasoning behind everything that happens in our daily lives. Have you ever looked at something and wondered how it worked? Well of course you have, and this course will answer all of your questions.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about how and why things move and act the way they do. I learned how electricity flows through a wire, and the brilliant things you can do with just some batteries and some copper. I saw directly how math actually came to life and jumped off of my notes and into the real world. It was honestly an amazing experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All you really need is an open mindset. If things get to hard, there will be help everywhere you look. I promise you are really set up for success.
