    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Listen, do you hear that? It's Alec Linsay inviting you to join him in learning about our great big universe, or as the class is titled principles biology. Challenge yourself, you'll be proud you did.

    Course highlights:

    It starts just like any biology class, we learn about atoms and atomic particles, we learn how to build atoms and about different bonds. Soon after we move into the parts of a cell, as we watch them grow we begin evolution. Evolution will take you up to the final exam.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    study with a group of people, and professors don't bite, in fact, the want the best for you so utilize them when you have them.

    Course Overview:

    I highly recommend this course, as it is a general understanding of biological workings. This course has helped me better understand cells, and the smaller subunits of cells.

    This course has helped me better understand cells, and the smaller subunits of cells. Also, I've learned about cellular and DNA reproduction.

    Advice for students:

    When taking BI 111, I greatly suggest a study group! Talking with other people taking the same class can really help cultivate a more solid understanding of the information that is learned in lecture. Also, the labs are really fun!

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The professor did a great job of making sure you got the information you needed, while not making it too much to handle. Great information I will use for the rest of my life. I wish I knew more about biology before I took the class, that way it wasn't so much information, but the information was fun to learn about.

    Course highlights:

    I gained a lot of knowledge of cells and life cycles, while also looking at evolution.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you study and do the homework.
