Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class itself is pretty interesting and there is so much to learn. Just study some and this is an awesome class

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the way animals interact with each other. The labs are fun and I got a chance to walk on my first bog. You learn so much about identifying trees, which I never thought I could learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study and take notes. I recommend going to lecture because he is a funny guy and makes it fun.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a requirement for me, but Dr. Brown made it worthwhile. He's a great lecturer and clearly cares about his students. He frequently engages the students to keep you awake. The exams are difficult though! Make sure to go over lectures presentations and crack open that textbook!

    Course highlights:

Learning key ecological principles was one of the largest focuses in this course, as the course title says. The subjects are pretty straightforward if you are familiar with ecology and biology; evolution, tropic cascade, succession. I really enjoyed going to the lecture because Dr. Brown is obviously very passionate about ecology and teaching. He is a phenomenal lecturer and is more than willing to help you outside of class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use a study budy to go over notes, lecture presentation, and textbook! The lectures seem easy, but Dr. Brown's exam will challenge your knowledge of the materials. He will take examples from the textbook and apply them to the principles to ask you VERY SPECIFIC questions.
