    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it challenges students to manage study time and free time. It also better prepares students for college courses in the future.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were learning about the history of the United States as well as seeing different perspectives on controversial topics in our countries past. I learned everything thing from founding the U.S. to Barack Obama becoming the 1st African American (Black) president.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this course you must do the work and read the book/notes. If you don't do this you will be confused and always a step behind in the classroom. Also be prepared for quizzes and tests the first time around, so you won't have to redo them or be stressed out about your grade.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP US History is a very content heavy class, really focused on memorization, as well as synthesis. The class revolves around understanding the order of American history chronologically, and while the information is interesting, the workload is extremely intense.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning to understand America's history, as well as the current political situation. I learned how the treatment of minorities sparked change and uprisings, as well as how one group can alter history!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering taking this course would be to review as you are also learning new material, that way you can constantly relate events to each other, which will make assignments easier!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very thorough. I believe it is very important to be knowledgeable about history, especially the history of the U.S.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned more than I thought I would ! At the beginning, I only knew a little about the major events in history such as WW1 and WW2, but after this course I know in detail about the history of the U. S.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study !!! The material can become over whelming if you fall behind, but if you stay on track it is just mainly reading and vocabulary.
