    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher has a drive to have her students succeed, as well as the course itself being intuitive, and throughout the lesson engaging. The lab portions included with the lessons were very effective at demonstrating the principles went over during course work as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course have go to be the lab portions, be it working with blended potatoes for their use of breaking down hydrogen peroxide or working with varying degrees of water transfusing through assorted substances, it truly sheds some light on the inner workings of life around us.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would be prepared for a heavy work load, and lots of self studying, do not just blow off work in this, you have to go over most of it to have a decent chance of passing this course. As a side note, make sure to reread lessons that the book recommends, as it helps unravel some of the new material much easier.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class simply because it makes you a better student. You learn how to organize your time and think better logically through this class. Although you probably won't receive college credit for it, this is one of that hardest classes any high school student can take and colleges love to see rigor on transcripts since grade inflation means everyone has a 4.0 now.

    Course highlights:

This was an intro to physics class so I gained a lot of insight on the applications of math problems through mainly mechanics and at the end some electricity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do a lot more work than you are used to and have a lower grade than you are used to. The amount of time spent after school on this class amounts to an extracurricular, so make sure that you have the time or are at least capable of making the time.
