Not too easy. Not too difficult.

We learn so much poetry, and I have come to appreciate poetry so much more. Plus, he's really passionate about his teaching, which is so important.

The teacher! He's always cracking jokes and as long as you do your work and stay off your phone, you're on his good side.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class gave me so much insight into the world of literature. The works we read and the life lessons we learned from literature will stay with me forever. Dr. Gibbons truly ignited a passion within me for novels that I did not know was there.

    Course highlights:

In this course, we read around ten works of literature, ranging anywhere from The Hours by Michael Cunningham to Hamlet by Shakespeare. We had in-class discussions everyday after reading a section of the work the night before, and I can truly say that it was a great learning experience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, all one needs to do is complete the work that is assigned. It does prompt critical as well as abstract thinking, but if the work is completed in a timely manner, the class is not too challenging.
