Course Overview:
Dora Bell is an amazing teacher. Not only does she have great teaching skills, she also has a sparkling personality. She genuinely cares about students' well-being whether personal or academic. The level of work in the course is tough but as long as you put in effort, she will too. You must be willing to study and do homework consistently.
Course highlights:
I loved integrals and derivatives. They are the foundation of AP CALC. There is so much math that could be used with integrals and derivatives. If you can remember the basics of these concepts and truly understand them, you will be able to understand the complexity of other topics
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
Please always take notes and listen in class. Always do homework and do NOT be afraid to ask questions. If you're lost, odds are someone else is also lost. Don't mind the nerds that know what's going on, just ask the questions! You are better off asking questions in class rather then struggling at home by yourself.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
It's a very challenging course but Dr. Bell prepares you for the final well. She's been teaching for awhile and knows the in and outs of the AP test.
Course highlights:
Honestly, just a ton of math. She gives many assignments to help you out too. Although it's a challenging class you will get the points and the grade you want if you put the work in. She assigns a ton of homework each night but it really prepares you for the tests.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Do the homework, do the homework. Don't skip doing homework one night because you will fall very far behind and homework are grade savers so manage your time wisely.

Course Overview:
This is a good course that provides good mathematical fundamentals that will later be applicable to physics and engineering.
Course highlights:
I enjoyed studying rates of change and deriving formulas that are applicable in real world science and engineering.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
It's important to study ahead of the class lecture. Try to do the homework problems ahead of schedule. Be prepared during class time to ask questions about the issues that are confusing you.
