    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Though this course is very much so a challenge, it is most definitely fun to learn about Calculus and discover that you can actually do it if you put your mind to it!

    Course highlights:

At first, I was VERY hesitant about taking the course. Without a doubt, I believed that I was in no way capable of performing well. I am a perfectionist to the max, and not succeeding in the course was my biggest fear. However, I was blessed to have one of the best teachers ever that believed in me. In my opinion, that's the most important part. When I felt as if there was no hope in simplifying a derivative, my teacher pushed me to think it through, and I can proudly say that I ended the course with an A --- all because someone believed in me!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I cannot express enough how important it is to do your homework! Yes, homework sucks, but it will help you so much in the long run. Most of the time, your teacher won't give you a study guide, so guess what serves as one? YOUR HOMEWORK! Sometimes they even pull questions for tests/quizzes from homework. It's tedious, but I promise it's worth it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because it helps you on the SAT. This class also helps with other math classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned that doing homework, and asking questions helps tons. This class also helps when you get to pre-cal and calculus, showing some topics that will be later covered.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you always practice, do homework, and learn proofs.
