    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Physics is a subject that combines math, science, and astronomy, and the teacher makes it a great experience, sharing his immense knowledge with us

    Course highlights:

We learned that the majority of space is nonexistant and because we can't have nonexistant we have dark matter. Newton's laws, forces, and simple motion make you wonder about the mysteries of how our earth works. It is incredible how you can leave the class and still remember equations such as x=x0+v0t+1/2at^2

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, Read, Read--It is crucial. Study hard and do not memorize--learn!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class will be the most difficult course that you have ever taken, but it is the perfect class to push you out of the nest to show you that you can fly. I earned my lowest grade ever in this course, but I have never been so prideful of a grade. The class taught me to keep going, even when I felt like I could not. It taught me how to think critically and analytically, rather than just how to memorize a process. The real-world applications that you will leave this class with are worth so much more than a perfect grade.

    Course highlights:

Because of the struggle that I encountered in this course, I began a study group. Taking the initiative to organize meetings and work together with my peers taught me valuable lessons that I otherwise would not have learned. These students are now my best friends, and I would not trade any of our meetings for the world. We all have different strengths, and we all learn so much from one another. Being pushed beyond our comfort zone brought us together to conquer our battles as a team.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Create a study group--you will need it. Work out every practice problem available to you, and make sure you understand why the answer is what it is. If you don't--talk to your teacher. Ask questions. Don't be afraid! That's how you'll learn.
