    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. It was interesting to learn about how the world interacted with one another before us.

    Course highlights:

My favorite learning experience was studying about Genghis Khan and his Mongol Empire. It was pretty awesome how he expanded his empire so much and procreated so much that one in two hundred people in Asia are direct descendants of Gneghis Khan.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't expect to improve your GPA with the ten point bonus if you don't study or pay attention in class. AP courses are like college classes, so you need to study outside of class. To study for AP World History, I recommend using Quizlet to study and watching all the John Green Crash Course videos on YouTube.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any one who loves history or loves to learn about different cultures and their relationships.

    Course highlights:

This highlights of this course were learning about how Christianity or Buddhism affected different people across the world or how the Chinese created gun powder or fireworks.I learned how different aspects of cultures can affect another society from an entirely different civilization.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise anyone taking this course to read the assigned pages that the teacher gives because most quizzes will be on the readings; furthermore, taking this course requires studying everyday and staying focused on the material or you will not be able to keep up with the class discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a good start for anyone who hasn't taken any AP classes yet. AP World was my first AP class and I remember my teacher mentioning that this is the class most sophomores take during my second year of high school. This was a great adjustment for me for getting ready for college classes later in the future or just more advanced classes in other subjects.

    Course highlights:

The top highlight of this course was when the whole class would do mini skits to helps us remember important people or events during each unit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to someone is don't stress out too much just because it's a AP class. The first thing I would change going into this class is your study habits and start thinking and acting like a college student when answering questions.
