    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because everybody likes knowing about crime tv shows and the facts/fallacies of the shows. Learning about serial killers is also something that can be exhilarating.

    Course highlights:

I loved to learn about crime scenes and how they are broken down. Investigation is something that seems easy on the tv, but has a lot of different aspects such as: hair. glass, fiber, insects, arson, fingerprints, footprints, etc.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just try to find something that interests you in the course. It won't be hard, though because it is something that everyone could get into. All of the categories are different, but they all tie together into one big crime scene.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Forensics is one of the most interesting courses one could take in school. You get an idea of the science and steps taken in order to solve the mystery of a crime.

    Course highlights:

I loved all of the labs we have done and the hands on activities that helped the class get a better understanding of the material. Throughout this process i have learned that forensic is a very detail oriented field and requires a mixture of facts and critical thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a light stomach do not take this course. Also do not be afraid to question what is being taught and get involved. A lot of the information given is really interesting and may even be useful in life. I find myself liking the course enough to further my participation in the future.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was very exciting and informative. The teacher was also great at teaching us and giving us the necessary notes we needed not only for our test and quizzes, but if you wanted to keep pursuing this kind of field after high school.

    Course highlights:

Learn different ways and things you can use to help solve a crime. Like fingerprints, bugs, glass, fire, the position of a body, and much more. We learned the different names of the different jobs people have in forensic science, like toxicologist(drugs), entomology(bugs), odontology(teeth), and much more. We also learned how to cut a body, but we used a banana instead. We learned about the founding fathers of forensics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study! Study. It is important that you do this because while it can be fun, their is a lot of notes to take and lots of things to remember.
