    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

It is overall an amazing course and you will not regret the decision. It was a chance for me to branch out and really get some good information in that course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teachers are supportive and enthusiastic about helping students achieve their goals and improve their skills.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course include all of the concepts throughout the school year, and LGPE (large group performance exam). We work so hard on all of our peices so that we can have a great performance for fellow students, parents. At LGPE we are also able to demonstrate all of our hard work for judges and fellow musicians. This course also allowed me the opportunity to play in an honors orchestra with a symphony at the University of North Alabama, where I was recently invited to audition for their music program.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be prepared to work hard everyday in this class. The teachers are wonderful, but they expect your best effort. You will also have to practice on your own, often with a private instructor. This course requires dedication on your part, as well as an open mind to improve your skill level through instructor feedback. It is all worth it.
