Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like the way Mr. Pak taught physics in a way that was easy to understand, i liked his connection with me and other students & he actually cared about us & our grades

    Course highlights:

Modern physics & working in my parallel and series lights house project

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid , just try and relax and enjoy it

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are willing to do the practice that he hands out and if you enjoy math. My favorite part of this course was the math because, once you learned how to use the formulas then the class was a lot easier.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about forces and circuits. A big section of the concepts included Issac Newton and his 3 laws. We learned how to determine the differing speeds of cars or any object after a collision. We learned how to measure the power rolling through a circuit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the practice and look at the concepts for about a week before the test. If you pay attention in class then that means the less amount of time you need to spend studying at home trying to play catch up. Respect your teacher because, they want to help you

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would more than definitely recommend this course. Physics C became the biggest challenge of my life up to this point. I was never really a science person but I knew that for a career in the medical field, I had to go forward and let myself face some difficulty in something that I knew would be difficult. Physics C makes you see life in a new view and makes you sometimes feel like superwoman when conquering a problem or can make you feel like an ant. But at the end of the day, you will know you succeeded. That is what matters. You passed another day of Physics C! Trust me, this is a huge accomplishment, even if you may be excellent at it. For me, I got to realize that with the help of others and the tears and hugs through learning, Physics became a friend to me. An enemy at the start can really be a best friend. It sounds nerdy but let me tell you, you will learn more than you ever thought that you will learn. It is not only the laws of physics and Newton's Three Laws, but you will learn patience, endurance, time management, the gift of friendship, suffering, and the more. Take this course to see more than your eyes will ever see.

    Course highlights:

There were so many highlights about this course but something that I got to experience was the effort of 20 plus people. An entire class will be your backbone to this course. I knew that our class was super competitive and that we all wanted to get to our place in life but physics will be the class where everyone will be your friend. Everyone will know you, everyone will love you, and when you have tears, they will come to give you hugs. I learned to be patient with myself even if I blamed the calculator although it was my fault. I learned to be an endurance trainer for school because that is what physics helps you to become. I might make it sound like physics is the worst thing in life but it is only because it is difficult. It is not super easy or super hard but it will be a class where you will be tested in so many aspects of your life. Get yourself out there! Experience a new part of life and challenge it. You can do it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not ever, ever give up. Giving up will not help you because it will only end up hurting your grade! I was in a tough low-point during a time in the semester but I knew that if gave up now, it would be so hard to stand up and try again. Physics is almost like a marathon. If you stop, all your muscles will want to stop running. I was a track runner and for those of you that are runners, you know what I mean! It is hard to get back up so do not stop even when it is hard. Go the extra mile. Do the extra problem. Do the bonus even if it seems impossible. One thing you have to remember when looking at a physics problems is this: you will always have enough information to solve a problem. An answer exists so you will find it. Do not think it is impossible because you are more than capable. Trust in yourself and your brain :).
