Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because there are no other classes at Peachtree Ridge that would allow you to stretch you mind the way this class does.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning about philosophers and having discussions as a class about philosophical ideas.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and learn important dates.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If anyone is interested in the human mind, biology, and other aspects on how the body works, it is highly recommended that you take this course. A student taking AP Psychology could learn about abnormal behavior, how the brain functions, and many other subjects that could explain the mind.

    Course highlights:

Personally, I learned how to read people. It's quite difficult trying to read a person's mind especially if they're not expressing straightforward body language. Students were taught why people behave in such ways and how to manipulate a human mind into thinking something else.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorizing vocabulary is huge part of this course. Everyone should take time remembering the vocabulary and learn how to apply it to actual situations. The textbooks are of great help especially if you're confused on how to apply certain terms.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

My teacher was great at explaining topics that other teachers weren't so good at explaining. It was enjoyable learning about the way the human brain works. It was even better because it was an AP course so I got to take the AP exam for it and I get a college credit for the class.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights would be how interactive the teacher was with her students. That was a good teaching/learning technique so there are some topics that were easier to remember than others because of how they were taught to us.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read the psychology textbook on your own time, and ready to write and learn an extensive vocabulary of terms relating to the brain. This is a fun course, but it takes a lot of effort to do well in it.
