    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is very passionate and extremely knowledgeable about chemistry. He is very willing to help when you have a question, but is not lenient regarding late work. Overall, the course is enjoyable as long as you follow instructions.

    Course highlights:

This course goes hand-in-hand with Chem 1312 lecture, and this lab really helps reinforce the subjects taught in lecture, as it allows for a more hands-on approach. So far, my favorite experiment has been the Le Chatlier’s Principle lab, which dealt with reactions at equilibrium; I enjoyed it because we could disrupt equilibrium, but then return the reaction back to equilibrium, and the change is instantaneous and seen right before you, which was fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You must take Chem lecture seriously also. Most importantly, be extremely cautious as you are dealing with chemicals, some of which are very toxic. Be knowledgeable of your surroundings and your actions. Take pre-labs seriously and read over the experiment prior, this will help you understand what you are doing while preforming the experiment.
