Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a great introduction to the human body and its many functions. While anatomy and physiology is vastly complex, this course makes it easy to understand yet still provides a challenge.

    Course highlights:

I really love how the class is structured. At the beginning, you go over the basics of each system of the body, familiarizing yourself with their functions and different organs they contain. After this sort of introductory lesson, the units are split based on each system. It makes the information seem less daunting and more manageable. My personal favorite system to learn about was the nervous system. There is so much to the nervous system, and all of it is highly fascinating. I may be biased though, I'll be a psychology major next fall.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The thing you've probably heard the most about this course is true; memorization is massively important when it comes to getting the basics of anatomy down. Get into the habit of committing the information to memory, and it'll be no problem by the time you have to memorize more complex systems, or the names of dozens of different bones. Flashcards may sound cliche, but they really do help with basic memorization. Drawing diagrams of different actions that take place throughout the body helps as well, especially for the more visual learners out there.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a very demanding course and it takes a lot of work. I would definitely recommend this course to people who really enjoy chemistry and maybe want to major in this. For me it really let me know which course I want to take in college and let me know how hard I will have to work then.

    Course highlights:

I liked the labs we did. You have to design your own labs and then do a full write up of them and these labs would sometimes replace the tests and I thought that was more fun than a test.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and do not procrastinate!!
