    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There is not a more interesting concept to learn in school. It is rigorous, but it is fascinating. You are bound to be amazed, if you decide to enroll.

    Course highlights:

I learned what the different parts of the brain are capable and responsible for doing. I also learned the characteristics and symptoms of certain psychological disorders and diseases.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the reading and take good, thorough notes. Also, make sure you memorize all the vocabulary terms for the AP Exam if you decide to take it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was challenging yet rewarding. You had to step out of your comfort zone and really dig into the textbook. My class was AP so we were expected to do our reading since the class was only a semester compared to the year long class in college. The tests are tough but the material is so intriguing you'll find yourself wanting to read your book.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course includes learning the way our body works and how our brain functions. You learn so many interesting facts about the brain you would never expect. You also learn that studying is very important and putting effort into this class is key. During this class you'll do projects relating to the different parts of the brain, different diseases in the brain, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is no doubt that this class will challenge you. Coming into the course I did not expect to put that much effort but after my first test, I stepped it up a notch. Psychology is not an easy topic but it is for sure the most interesting class I have taken. It has prepared me for the amount of studying I am going to have to do in college and I would recommend this class to anyone who wants a college feel in their classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a course about the mind, I feel like this course should be required. It gets you to understand people more.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human brain, I learned how to deal with people. I also learned about different types of mental disorders and how you can tell which one is which.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely listen throughout the course. Take good notes. Study hard. I advise quizlet, the note card version. The brain part is probably the hardest thing but if you keep going over it it will get easier.
