    Pretty easy, overall.

I loved this course, it gave me a new and fresh perspective. The lesson was easy to follow and the professor was always available when needed. Great opener for anyone majoring in Animal Science.

    Course highlights:

I loved the in-depth descriptions of all industries, opening into livestock genetics, and overall profiling of the ideal livestock.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study, this class is easy if you review your notes daily and stay on top of the lab work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

ANSI 1124 is a really tough course, especially for someone who didn't grow up with an agriculture background, but Dr. Stein really likes to makes sure his students understand the material. He is always so helpful and supportive. I've learned so much this semester by taking his course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be going to the campus facilities like the OSU Ferguson Dairy Cattle Center or the Equine Center to get hands on experience. It makes the class so much more enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you print out all the PowerPoints or write notes in class and ask questions if you have any. Be involved! When studying for tests like the breed IDs or the breed terms I always used flash cards and it was definitely helpful.
