Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you enjoy reading and writing, you would probably like one of the AP English classes offered at LHS. Miss Padilla was very much a "no nonsense" kind of teacher, but she did really know her stuff. Plus she was genuinely enthused about literature, both classic and modern.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included watching film/stage adaptations of works we read. Reading classic stage plays. Fun projects included making video projects with classmates featuring our own versions of classic literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an affinity toward English reading and writing. If not, you can probably survive. Don't necessarily let the "AP" name scare you off. Yes, it is more difficult than the regular classes, but if you really think you can do it, you probably can.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Threw content we learn are applicable to real life situations. It is easy to apply what we learn.

    Course highlights:

The discussions are the best part of the class. The students associate what we learn to their experiences.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Study! Study! Some information is covered in class but it is important to be a self directed learner.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Ms. Todikozi is an excellent teacher. She makes you strive for your best while creating a learning environment that is very fun!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was doing the creative components for our projects. It really helped us understand our lessons more and in a fun way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to have fun by doing all the required work she gives you. It's not that difficult but there's a lot that is asked for.
