Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helps with comprehension, how to write, teaches you correct grammar, also teaches you how to make your essay a stronger and better one.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to had been debating. I learn so much for debates; facts, new knowledge i didn't know of, how to have strong points, to always be prepared and to always look at things for a different perspective to see where someone would've come from and how to counter it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All ways pay attention and do your best, go in for help, start on the essay/assignment earlier so you dont have to worry about when its due.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to students attending Moanalua High School because not only did Ms.Morikawa teach great lessons she always made sure it was related to who you are as a person, who you would like to become in the future or your opinion on things happening around the world. We wrote over 20 essays throughout the course but I really feel like writing is easier for me because of the challenging topics she would make us use. Digging deep within yourself to write a paper and to only receive a decent grade wasn't discouraging but it pushes you to go further in your knowledge.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the Senior Portfolio due at the End of the Year to determine if you were to graduate or be held back. I learned to do my work ahead of time and actually write quality papers that will give me a high grade. I learned that its okay to fail sometimes but its the matter if you are willing to get back up and try again. I learned that you cant rush anything that it takes time and dedication to succeed. I learned who I am as a person and I didn't realize at the beginning of the course I didn't know myself like I thought. I opened up, I spoke my mind, I accepted criticism, I worked hard and I had to dig deep for knowledge I didn't know I had.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work, read your books, take notes, stay encouraged, build relationships with the teacher and your classmates. always submit quality work.
