    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although it's really competitive in that class, but you will learn a lot of things. Many students in our school afraid of taking that course because of the rumors. To be honest, I was once afraid, but until today I'm so glad that I didn't drop the class because I gained a lot of knowledge about Precal. Our teacher teaches us really well, so many of us get the concept really fast.

    Course highlights:

Every period, we learn new things and we will take a quiz after every two lessons to test how well we learned. I was really tired everyday because it's the first period of the day. I can't even concentrate because I was so tired, so I just stared on the board most of the time. It was really weird when I didn't pay attention but still understand the lesson really well. Now I understand the trig identities and all those trig formulas, which I hated the most before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just take it and not worrying about those rumors. You won't regret it once you're in it, although it's tough. It's really important to spend time on reviewing it and study for every quiz and test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Depending on your future major you may need to know the relevant basics within mathematics to succeed.

    Course highlights:

Learning my strengths and weaknesses. To be successful in anything life throws at me I need to know who I am. I will need to know myself so I know what to stay away from and things I can be successful in.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a good understanding of your capabilities. Knowing yourself is important in general but especially when picking classes and picking your major.
