Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor is dynamic and engaging which made me really enjoy the class rather just "go through the motions" to pass the class

    Course highlights:

Learning concepts in more detail like what the "true meaning" of bipolar was and what it really means to live and endure it

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all reading assignments as this can help minimize unpreparedness

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it prepares you for psychology courses in college and gives you a brief view of how the mind operates and the different kinds of disorders.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, I've learned many things. Such as the different types of anxiety disorders and mental illnesses. I also learned how the mind works and how strong it really is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I could give is to do your work early and turn it in early. Also, to read the rubrics and instructions carefully because Mrs. Poai is very strict about following instructions and rubrics.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I Understand that this is a high school class, But During that time When I took Psychology, It was really fun and interesting. You learn thing and realize "hey I know someone who is like that!"

    Course highlights:

When we learned about the different types of depression, Most people think that depression is just people all sad and slumped around, but that is not the case. There are people who seemed very outgoing and bright, but in reality then have those moments where they feel like they don't want to do anything. This is what it's like to have bipolar depression.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice for you, when taking this course is to put thing in real life situations, What it would be like if a person really had this illness.
