    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is very interesting and you will get a lot of helpful information out of this. It was a great class.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of history facts that I did not know. I watched old fashion movies and ended up liking them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to really pay attention to the homework assignments that are given. Everything was online except for the test that were given. Always take notes and follow the power points that he gives in class. They tend to be very helpful.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He is a passionate teacher and factual. There are only three test including the final and he drops the lowest score, so if you are satisfied with the first two you do not need to go in for the final.

    Course highlights:

I do know more about the historical time period that was focused on than before I took the course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention and study for the test. He is not a difficult grader but does take into account mastery of the topics.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who needs to fill a history requirement. This class was not hard at all, as long as you showed up for class. It is a great class for someone who works better in groups, versus on their own. There are about five writing assignments through the duration of the semester which are very easy. Four movies are assigned to watch and all that is required is a one page, single spaced essay on who it enhanced your understanding of the topic. Overall the class is not bad and the professor is very passionate about her teachings.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were working in groups every week. It was really nice to be able to connect with fellow classmates instead of sitting there for the entire 75 minutes, watching the time slowly go by. It is also, sometimes easier to grasp the concept of something when working in a small group too, versus just sitting and listening to a lecture. One thing I learned in this class that I actually found to be interesting, was the French Revolution and how uncomfortable the entire situation must have been for King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette when they were first introduced and the pressure of having a son.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only advice I would give to a student that was considering this course, would be to show up. Do not miss her class because she will hold it against you. However, if missing class is not a problem for you, than this class should be an easy A.
