Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is important to know the basic psychology of a human, as it makes it easier to understand others and ourselves. The human psyche is an extremely complex thing, but knowing a thing or two about it makes life easier.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about the parts of the brain along with their roles. You also learn about the different branches and methods of philosophy. Expect to learn topics like learning, memory, sensation, perception, and consciousness.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook! Everything that is learned in the course is all in the book usually. Most Intro to Psychology books are all very similar to each other, so the course load and discussions are pretty predictable and go along with the book. I would pay attention in discussions because sometimes professors like to talk about certain popular cases that relate to the topic that you're learning about in class but are not in textbooks and sometimes they appear on tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Buzzeo worked extremely hard to help her students learn to the best of their ability, while always being available, even though the class was online.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Buzzeo tended to grade on effort, as most papers and responses were opinion based. However, it allowed me to think outside of the box, instead of being confined to specifics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared on the first day when you look at the syllabus. Its a heavy workload but it makes you think on your own.
