    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was a challenge because everyone fears Organic Chemistry and it has always been given a bad reputation but my experience during Dr. Sullivan's lectures often included a different take of the standard chemistry lectures. He usually worked through many great examples of challenging reactions or concepts bringing them to life on the white board.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of Organic Chemistry were definitely the overall concepts that were taught because they explain many of the organic mechanisms that happen in everyday life. The professors that teach this course do an excellent job breaking down the material into the main reactions and how they are all utilized in a lab setting and how their own background in either pharmaceuticals or a synthesis lab relates to what we were learning in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Studying for this class is a must and if the material from the lecture does not make sense during its first appearance do not be afraid to ask as many questions about it because your fellow class mates will be having the same issues. The studying done outside the lecture hall should include putting together a plastic three dimensional model kit and being able to draw it in order to fully grasp the concepts that are being taught.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I'm very glad I had he for my first semester, he really does care and it blows that this was his last semester.

    Course highlights:

Amazing lecturer but, he will make you work like crazies for your score, numerous quizzes and homeworks a,d tests.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take his class you will understand everything about chemistry but will need to detach from your social life
