    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned a lot of valuable information that helps me understand what is going on in America today.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting to learn different things about history that teachers have skipped over in the past. I enjoyed doing study guides in class the most because it was interesting to get other students' input. I learned everything you would ever need to know about American history in this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to pay attention and be very tentative in class. You should also make sure to do all the assigned work. Even if you do not know all the answers, you should try your best anyways. Also, make flashcards or a study guide that keeps up with the text book. It will be an immense help when the AP exam comes around.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wasn't use to the pace or the course load of advanced placement classes. But in Mr Lore's class I was never bored, I felt involved and that my opinion mattered.

    Course highlights:

I learned that although history is fact based, it is important to make your own interpretation of it. Thousands of years of emotions, traditions, and values can't be measures by the opinion of one person so why would I let that one person's opinion affect mine?

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There is going to be a lot of work but don't let that hold you back from having fun in this class. You're not only going to learn about history, youre going to learn about how it relates to your life and your future.
