    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher genuinely cares about the students input and is willing to work around students schedules for testing.

    Course highlights:

Our class was especially different as we had it during election time. It was cool because we got to see the different campaigners go at it as they both fought for the Presidents seat. I learned that the although the U.S. President very well may be one of the most important and powerful men in the world, the Congress still has most of the power in our government.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study a lot, don't be afraid to intereact, ask lots of questions, stay on the teachers good side and take advantage of the case briefs because they very well will save your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before this class, I didn't know anything about the U.S government. I was turning 18 years old the upcoming year. I'd be eligible to vote with no common knowledge, and through this course I took a lot with me. Without Dr.Smith, I would just be another statistic about a ignorant millennial.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all of the Supreme Court cases, and how our country got to where we are today. I got to visit the Georgia Capitol and meat our House of Representation member for our district. Everything I learned came to life. I'm into political science because of it, and could see myself in the government one day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

He gives a lot of homework for the cases, but please don't be discouraged! You're learning about things that ACTUALLY matter, and how our country got to the present place. Every American should know about these things that are taught in this class, so take it with you.
