    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took Precalculus as a junior in high school. I have always taken gifted and honors math classes, so when I began Honors precal, I didn't think that it would be too difficult. However, it turned out to be the most challenging class I had ever taken, not because the material was difficult, but because for the first time in my life, I had to study and struggle to learn material. My precal teacher was also the AP Calculus teacher, so he prepared his students to learn what was needed in order to succeed in Calculus. Therefore, the material was taught quickly in order for us to start the AP Calculus curriculum before the end of the year. I am now in AP Calculus, and it is much harder than Honors Precalculus, but I am prepared for the difficulty of it because my precal class taught me to how to work for what I want; how to study and work through a struggle in order to overcome any obstacles in my academics. I recommend this class because it teaches its students to face challenges with optimism and do what they have never done before in order to succeed. It teaches work ethic.

    Course highlights:

Honors Precalculus taught me to how to work for what I want; how to study and work through a struggle in order to overcome any obstacles in my academics. In life, we will always face difficult tasks and obstacles, and if we don't learn how to conquer the, we will drown in the reality of life. I recommend this class because it teaches its students to face challenges with optimism and do what they have never done before in order to succeed. It teaches work ethic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Regardless of how difficult this class may be, the struggle is worth it. As adults, we are going to have to deal with difficult situations, so it's better to start learning how to now, so that when those difficult situations arise, we will be equipped with the skills needed to conquer them. My advice is to ask as many questions as you need to in order to understand, always attend tutoring, dedicate everyday to studying, and never give up, regardless of how difficult or hopeless success may seem.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it can prepare you for college in the sense that it forces you to study but its also not a class that is impossible to make an "A" in .

    Course highlights:

I've always struggled with geometry . I am grasping a better understanding of triangles ,SIN, COSINE , and TANGENT .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be scared. Give at least 20 minutes a day to this class .

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you love math, I wouldn't even suggest, I would tell you to take this course! Nothing but numbers and symbols and finding areas of small crevices that I never knew people even thought about. Your brain will have to resort to extreme measures and expand from all the new and intriguing knowledge!

    Course highlights:

What I loved most about this course, even though I have a strong distaste to numbers, was the shapes. Oh, how much I love shapes. We learned the charateristics of shapes I have never met and wasn't going to meet. Such as but not limited to; Hyperbolas, ellipses, and other conics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

YOU NEED TO STAY STUDYING! Never think you know it so well you can't brush up some more. Practice makes perfection, yeah after the millionth time. Same applies in this course. When your on the toilet, think about formulas you need to remember. When your brushing your teeth sing an acronym for remembering all the law of sines. When your watching tv and a commercial comes on, work on some problems. To sum everything up be creative when you do study so you will never get bored and stop.
