Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Roberson is very well educated in the chemistry department. He loves helping his students and he is very willing to spend extra time helping the student understand. Chemistry isn't the easiest subject but Roberson makes it fun and easier to understand. The best Chem instructor I've ever had. Has been teaching for over 40 years, very smart man.

    Course highlights:

I learned many short cuts to the algebraic problems dealing with chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes, come to class, and pay attention and you should do very well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you plan on pursuing a career in science then this class is a must take. The class is hard but it's mostly equations so if you're bad with math I would recommend taking advantage of any tutoring you have available.

    Course highlights:

I learned that chemistry is not a career path I want.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. And when you're done study some more.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a difficult course, especially in a 6-week period. The background knowledge I had was unreliable, so I was on a fresh slate. Take notes on the formulas and manipulation of said formulas- they are going to be most important on tests, and crucial in lab. The other generalized knowledge is important, but you should be able to remember most of it, if not all of it by taking the lab as well.

    Course highlights:

The lab was a highlight, labs were always Interesting. My favorite was making aspirin, which had real world implications. I had taken college algebra already so I didn't learn much math wise which is what was heavily focused on, I did learn that a difficult 16 week course condensed into about a third of the time, and a full time job is a challenge like no other I have ever had.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Math intensive. Come into this class with college algebra mastered, you will need basic college level algebra through out all Chem levels.
