    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Wonderful teacher. If taking online the midterm and final are very identical questions.

    Course highlights:

The class was a basic review of what you should have learned in high school algebra 1&2.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a very common pre-req for most majors. If you are good at math take online.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this instructor in particular. Mrs. Petruska helped me gain a lot of information, and actually helped me understand math. She was always willing to help out a student and doesn't mind scheduling meetings in her office for some one on one help.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of the course was having the math I hadn't understood for years finally click in a way that made sense. I learned time management skills because I had homework almost every day I had class. Mrs. Petruska pushes her students enough so that they succeed, not so much that they fail. This class is great for those who don't understand the basics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you stay focused. Re try the homework as many times as it will let you so that you can get the highest grades possible. DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP!! I can not stress that one enough. If you genuinely do not understand a concept, ask her and she will gladly help you. Because that concept you don't understand WILL pop back up again, and youll need to know it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it isn't too difficult, and it is good preparation for more math classes.

    Course highlights:

It's a great review on previous material covered in other math courses. Taking this class gives good preparation for harder math classes to come.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be committed. All one needs is a desire to succeed and a great work ethic to make it in this class.
