    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course material is very difficult and I got no support from the teacher. The instructor was also very rude when asking questions about exams and coursework.

    Course highlights:

I did have to teach myself how to work a graphing calculator so I could even have a chance of passing this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study really hard before each of the exams! Also make sure that you have gotten an A on all the homework assignments to help keep your grade high.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course mainly because it is required for some majors and Mike Walker is great at teaching it.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to find data. With Walker, that's all you will learn. He loves data. Loves it. Not kidding.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to do homework :) good luck. Reading isn't really required but make sure you listen when he lectures and ASK HIM TO DO EXAMPLES ON THE BOARD. Also, have him do a few examples and then ask if he can put one up that you can do on your own and then have him solve it. He won't do that unless you specifically ask.
