    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was filled with knowledge everyday. I enjoyed being able to learn all these new ideas, however the information seemed a bit hard to retain at times. The concepts may be difficult to understand, but it is a great class if a student wants to be exposed to the academics of biology.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the labs of this course. For example, we dissected a frog and a worm which both grabbed my interest. I learned about how living organisms function, down from their microscopic cells to their muscle groups (if they have muscles).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to thoroughly understand the information covered in each class. Take notes and review the notes. Study on your own at home if needed. The tests are tricky.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Biology 1 Honors as a course for students to take because I found it challenging, yet very interesting at the same time. In the honors class you are able to do much more than a regular class, such as labs/ experiments. Doing the labs and/or experiments allows the students to see a project hands on, with a wonderful opportunity to learn more.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the Biology 1 Honors course was the different hands on activities we could do. In this class you learn basic Biology including a more in depth understanding of plants and animals.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To students considering on taking Biology 1 Honors as a class, I would recommend to take it. The course is very enjoyable and you learn the basics of many topics taught in the class. All of the topics are also further I upper level sciences in some way or another so this is similar to a building block.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is a perfectly taught subject and is made interesting by the teacher of this class.

    Course highlights:

I learn of the dissection process of a frog which was fascinating and cool to actually do the experiment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course make sure to read and review over the notes provided by the teacher. With doing that and making sure to put time aside for biology during the week anyone considering doing the course will succeed.
