Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the books we read are very eye opening. AP literature makes people go further inside and analyze more than just what’s on the outside.

    Course highlights:

I am still taking this course, but I have learned that authors hide the real purpose in the text. Writing an essay includes four parts; process, purpose, proof, and point. Writiers has to hit all of those parts in order to receive a good score on the exam.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest reading outside of class, and analyzing the books before you go over them in class. I would also tell students to not get discouraged by just one bad essay score because there is always room to grow.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Knowledgable teacher that challenges students in knew ways.

    Course highlights:

The way that literature is looked at from a more sophisticated level, as well as global discussions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study a lot and do all of the reading required, it takes up time but is well worth it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Mills is an overall amazing teacher. He is very dynamic and forms a great relationship with his students. It is safe to say the two years spent with him were an incredible learning experience. If you have a chance to take a class with him, do it. It requires hard work, dedication, and MINIMAL ABCENSES. Mapping your books, short stories, and just about any piece of writing is highly recommended in order to pass his class.

    Course highlights:

I gained not only educational knowledge but worldly knowledge. Mills is not afraid to express his experiences growing up that shaped him to be the great role model he is today. He has traveled the world and gotten to experience things many people may never get the chance to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Map, map, map. Have good time management and do the little assignments that don't look like much but affect your grade by 5 points because there is a big difference between a 67% and a 72%. Follow his instructions, sometimes the answers are handed to you and you don't even know it. Always remember the apple is not red, meaning there is more than just the thin layer you see. there is the white , and the seeds, maybe even a little hidden worm living in the apples of gothic literature.
