Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course explored subjects that I have never thought about before or that weren't usually discussed in regular courses. It was very interesting to learn about the way peoples' minds operate, since our mind acts as the control center of each of our lives. The learning styles used in the classroom also helped me be successful and get a 4 on the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

The important moments of the course were the creative and interactive projects we had to do each quarter because we tested variables and concepts that were not familiar to us and were very out of the norm, which made it very interesting. I really enjoyed the units that explained mental disabilities or disorders that people have had, whether it was in the past or the present, like schizophrenia. This subject was also very memorable for me since I do want to go into special education. Other significant topics included the parts of the brain, sleep, and personality disorders.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You absolutely have to read all of the chapters in the textbook and maybe even make some quick, brief notes as you read along. If you do this, the actual classwork and homework will go much smoother. Also, if you took notes for the class on one day, you should go back to those notes that same night and study them. Studying the vocab is key.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is interesting and an exciting class to be a part of.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about Social Psychology of how we interact with other people and how we behave, following the social norm in public.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do our assignments and study because the course is very vocab heavy so memorization is key to success.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are interested in learning how our brains work and how we think. It's intriguing and keeps you interested throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

I loved my teacher and her teaching style, as well as the course material in general. My favorite section, however, was learning the parts of the brain and what each part does.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is incredibly fun and interesting, but be prepared for hours of notes, practice tests, FRQ's, and projects that make up the learning process.
