Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps you understand the many ways people think and work. This will help in other classes and you will be ahead of the game when they teach you the brain in anatomy and in other psych course what psych is all about.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything from study techniques, to diseases, to life management, to anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

it is vocabulary heavy, make sure to study the words because once learned they will be used the rest of the year.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as I believe it is important for people to understand how the human mind works. With this knowledge people will have a better understanding of why others commit certain actions, or value specific ideals. Not only that, but it gives people an inside look on mental illness and can help those who are struggling an outlet to figure out how to get to a better place. Psychology is an essential study that humanity needs as it helps better communities, people, and overall society.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of this course was being able to relate to the information we were learning in class. I enjoyed being able to understand why I feel certain emotions during specific situations, or how I am developing and will continue developing over the years. My favorite section so far has been learning about sleep cycles and how dreaming works. It is very interesting to understand the way the mind functions as well as useful as now I have a better understanding on how to stay mentally healthy and grow as a person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during the lectures! The book is difficult to read as it is a lot of information so you'd probably be better off listening to lectures as Mr. Clarke tells you all the information you really need to know. Another tip, which is one you have probably heard a million times, is to not procrastinate! This class is a lot of work as there is a lot of material to cover, so if you do your work in a timely manner not only will you save yourself a load of stress, but you will also be able to study the information more thoroughly.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because my teacher is very thorough and wants every individual in the class to succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned most of the aspects of the brain and mind. I learned how these connected to our social environment.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time carefully! Procrastination will definitely hurt you if you do not.
