Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She's an amazing teacher and really focuses on the course material but engages the students in a more inviting way.

    Course highlights:

I've learned to analyze text in ways that I had never really comprehended, furthering my chancing of succeeding in college when assignments similar to the ones presented in the class are assigned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to actually read the material given. There will be daily work and surprise assignments that will test your knowledge and there is really no way of lying your way through a novel.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Yes because I have had the opportunity to read books I never would have chosen for myself. I have a great professor that has made me thoroughly enjoy english and I would recommend the course to those who love to see things between the lines. This course has helped me see things below the surface and understand the deeper meaning and really analyze poems, books, life, etc.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would definitely be the books we have read. I have been able to gain so much knowledge about situations and extended my vocabulary exponentially ever since I began reading these challenging books. We have great book discussions and overall I have learned so much.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend reading everything and remembering everything you read. Tests/ quizzes are very detailed and if you do a writing assignment and extensive amount is writing is required with actual facts of course. Also paying attention is class is a big deal and I would recommend getting involved in class discussions. Even if you're embarrassed giving any kind of input goes a long way with your own understanding.
