    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I actually took this class in the spring of 2007 but the options do not go back that far. I was an art major in a financial accounting class, which is terrifying to say the least. I do not excel in math and would never have chosen to take this course but it was the only thing standing between me and graduating. Dr. Lazdowski was incredible. She spent more time than she needed to helping me, she set me up with a tutor, she GAVE me her personal books to study for. Without her I would not have been successful. Because of her generosity and positive attitude I am ready to take on managerial accounting at the graduate level this summer!

    Course highlights:

I used to be pretty haphazard with keeping track of my money and bills. This class taught me more than just the classroom lessons. It helped me to see the benefit of managing my finances.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is tough, especially for non business majors, but a wonderful skill set to have! If you are a business major this is a necessary course and if you can have Dr. Lazdowski as your teacher, and you are willing to put in the time, you will do wonderfully!
