Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is an art philosophy class. It studies what famous philosophers and artists thought about what classifies as "art". I thought it would boring at first, but I'm actually learning a lot and I'm really engaged in the coursework.

    Course highlights:

So far, I'm really liking the "But is it Art" book by Cynthia Freeland. It basically summarizes our entire class, and some of the topics that it addresses are very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the readings. Make sure to take LOTS of notes, and read the syllabus. It tells you exactly what is going to be on the tests (which are all open notes, except for the final), so you can know what to take notes on!
