Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP World History was a compelling sophomore year course that really gave me perspective on other cultures and their viewpoints throughout all of history. Mr. Roselle is really good at explaining these complex concepts and relationships while giving us little in terms of work.

    Course highlights:

I liked the interactive student environment that Mr. Roselle promoted. I felt very accomplished when I finished, knowing that I would retain almost all of the material that Mr. Roselle taught me while still having a life outside of class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do the homework and pay attention in class, you will do well in the course and pass the AP Exam.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the idea of taking this course intimidates many students, including myself, this course specifically became my gateway to mastering difficult AP classes. Aside from AP Human Geography, I had never taken an AP class, and this one definitely posed a greater challenge than I had ever seen in my preceding classes. However, I left this class maintaining straight As because I learned to perfect my work ethic, and how to begin studying mass amounts of information when the time for the AP exam rolled around. Even if this is the only AP class you take during the year, you will learn more about World History and your study habits than you ever thought you would.

    Course highlights:

As the name entails, you will be learning about the history of the world dating back thousands of years. This was a mass amount of information and the best part about this class was being able to push myself and learn how to study more efficiently and how to time manage in order to maintain As in the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

As much as the masses of homework can be a bore, make sure to do it. The homework given in this class usually entails what you will be tested on, and ALWAYS read the book. I read nearly every page in my textbook and that aided greatly in my success in the class. You will find this is a commonality among most difficult AP classes, so this class will test your ability to handle rigorous courses.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love history! To go back in time and learn about who you are and where you come from is such a wonderful experience. Being able to read about places in a history book then being able to travel to those places because your family is in the military is a great experience. I did find the course to be a bit challenging when it was time for finals. I used flash cards to help me.

    Course highlights:

In my class we acted out some of the historical events. This way we were all involved at some point and it made the chapter even more interesting!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is best to keep up with your homework. If at all possible do not get behind. Have a study buddy and most of all when it is time for testing remember to use flash cards for AP History. It helps alot.
