Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to help anyone struggling in analyzing text and comprehension of speech. By the end of the course, the student will understand allusions and metaphors hidden within text to succeed on the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to break apart text and understand the hidden meaning behind the text. The highlight was getting a better grasp of the English language.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study and follow every section on the rubric. The rubric is the key to success.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. King was a wonderful yet stern teacher who genuinely cares about her students and is willing to work as long as you are. She works you hard and consistently, and it really shows when you show up to take your AP exam because you feel prepared and you feel confident.

    Course highlights:

We got the opportunity to share our opinions and comment on the world around us freely and comfortably within a well facilitated environment. There was no room for judgment and we didn't get off topic too much because Mrs. King was able to steer us in the right direction.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to write essays and annotate documents. It's not as scary as it seems because she does a great job of breaking down the essays into digestible components. But also be prepared for a lot of creative projects where you get the chance to show off your artistic ability.
